What is your running history?

I’ve been a runner for 35 of the 48 years I’ve been on this earth.  I started in 8th grade, ran on high school and college teams and continue running.  I’m currently up to 73 marathons.

What running groups/communities are you involved with?

Clif Bar Pace Team, Run N Fun Masters Race Team, Minnesota Distance Running Association, and of course Fitsok!

What is your favorite running experience?

1996 Olympic Trials Marathon (in which he competed!])

What events are you running/racing in 2016? What are your goals?

For the past few years I’ve primarily focused on pacing marathons with the Clif Bar Team.  As of now I’m pacing at the L.A. Marathon in February.  The full 2016 calendar hasn’t been confirmed but I’m hoping to pace 4-5 other events.

What do you talk about when you talk about running?

Everything.  No topics are off limits.

What is your favorite Fitsok sock and why?

The ISW Isolwool Trail Cuff – I love the feel of wool and the snug fit.  I also like the longer cuff.

What are your major running accomplishments (races completed, PRs, awards won) other than being a former Fitsok catalog model?

Marathon

I was voted most athletic in our high school senior class over Deion Sanders. (North Fort Myers High School, Florida – 1985)
