What is your running history?

I enjoy running any distances. My favorite are trail ultras. I am an Elementary School Principal, and balance training with family and school commitments. I am married to my very supportive wife Sally, and we have three kids - Sophy, 9, and twins Silas and Ayda, 7.

What running groups/communities are you involved with?

Adrian, MI has a strong running community. I enjoy being a part of this.

What is your favorite running experience?

Western States in 2014 was my favorite running experience. It was amazing!

What events are you running/racing in 2016? What are your goals?

I haven't planned 2016 yet, however, I would like to break 2:30 for the marathon and break 14 hours for 100 miles.

What do you talk about when you talk about running?

Usually life in general, or anything positive.

What is your favorite Fitsok sock and why?

ISW Trail Cuff - I wear these year round unless it's crazy hot. I have yet to get a blister wearing these socks.

Half Marathon, 1:12:21 - 2014 Live Centered half marathon - MI Marathon, 2:34 - 2014 Columbus Marathon - OH 50k trail, 3:39 - 2014 Running Fit 50k – MI (Course Record) 50 mile trail, 8:14 - 7th overall in 2012 North Country Trail Run – MI 100k road, 3rd place in 2013 USA National Championship – Mad City – WI 100 mile trail, 14:11 – 2015 Rocky Raccoon – 2nd USATF National Championship, 4th overall 100 mile trail, 17:13 - 6th overall in 2013 USATF National Championship – Burning River – OH 2014 Western States 100 – 22:06 2015 LT JC Stone 50k, Pittsburgh, PA – 1st place 2015 TNF Endurance Challenge Ontario 50 Mile – 3rd place 2015 Dance With Dirt 100k Relay, Hell, MI – 1st place
